I was surprised to find an ad for Colt lowers for sale in Europe. Then I looked at the http://www.tactical-arms.de/LOWER-Receiver-M16-COLT.html and then at the photos. I then looked all around at anything I could find on roll markings and format format, and serial numbers. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Kind of hard to tell what is what since it is in German.

But it looks like somebody is parting out M16's since Colt does not sell stripped lowers (at least not in the US).

My point was that the roll marks don't look like anything I've ever seen, and the manufacturer is said to be "Colt Mfg Inc Co", plus the serial numbers, clearly shown, do not tally with the records shown on this board and on other "Colt" info sites. I just wandered if anyone had ever seen similar genuine Colt lowers so marked.
Thanks for the feedback so far.

Looks legit to me. Oh and I would pick one of those up if I could.

maybe they look odd because on the net we usually see pics of "US Property" marked lowers....those rollmarks are common on export models or any other non-USGI weapon AFAIK.
and "Colt Mfg" markings on full auto lowers are not that uncommon

I suspect they are counterfeit.

On top of what Dolan has pointed out reference the roll stamp and serial number, that finish sucks way too much to be Colt.

Serial number and rollmarks coincide with this image from Colt's website:

http://www.colt.com/mil/downloads/M4_Commando_01.jpg

ETA:  Although the positioning of the serial number doesn't match up with that or any of the other images.     Something does seem fishy about them, but it might just be the funky picture shading/resolution.

ETA 2:  After comparing them to this current production M4, I'm pretty sure they're counterfit.  The font of the rollmarks is way off.

799 euro is $1195 USD. For a stripped AR lower.

I couldn't find an emoticon of someone smoking crack.

Here is a real USGI M4 lower for comparison:
