According to the following add posted on Sturm by Clyde Armory, Colt will be offering complete upper assemblies in the next couple of months to include a 6940 with 11.5" barrel  Now this I like....
We have in stock ready to ship to you directly COMPLETE upper assemblies for the Colt LE6940. This is the all new Colt rifle that has the one piece monolithic rail system, bolt, bolt carrier, and charging handle (complete). Colt is releasing a set amount of these units onto the market and we have them ready to move. They also include the flip up front sight along with the Matech flip-up rear sight. $899 If interested shoot me an email or give me a call at 706-247-3643 (cell) or 706-549-1842 (office). Dealers; call for quantity discounts. Also, Colt is going to release the following uppers onto the market in the next several months. I need to send in a Form 1 on my spare 6721 lower. I expect Colt will offer the complete weapon however I prefer the Form 1 route atleast until my dealer gets his SOT. Cheers |
