We know the low end Police officers buying their own personal weapon is 1350ish, and we know the high end be the first on the block Gunbroker price is 2500ish.

I would like to know what normal civilian, don't care if I'm on a wait list for 5 months price is. Is the Knesek price of $1750 good or bad compared to what other normal people have paid or are paying. I can afford to pay just about any price, but since I have no need for another Colt and only want one, I would like to get the best deal currently out there.

Please do not post if you got your rifle with the Police discount unless you want to tell me they will give it to active duty military. The Police discount is a great price but is meaningless in this conversation since the question is about the normal price.

Knesek is the best I've found so far through hours of looking. This doesn't mean there's not somewhere cheaper though. If there is, I wish I knew but some people like to be secretive about

their connection

If it helps at all....someone in another thread said dealer cost was 1315. That will atleast give you a price point to judge the best price.

Where did you see the $1,750 pricing from Knesekguns? I didn't see it on their website, and do not know if they are shipping them yet. Maybe they are, I just haven't seen it.

I have had more than one person tell me they did orders/pre-orders with them with either deposits or full payment only to be forced to pay a higher price to take delivery.

I've heard that too. They quoted me that they were going to be $1750 plus or minus $50 when they come in but we'll see.....

I pre-ordered one from Kneseks' a couple of months ago. I placed a $200 deposit. They quoted me $1749 + $20 shipping and sent me an invoice showing that as the sale price with the difference ($1549) due on delivery. I've bought from them in the past and they were a great company to deal with. I sure hope they don't try to raise the price once they come in.

Good deal. Mind sharing the dealer info? I saw 2 at a gun show yesterday and both were $2500. Pretty big mark up since dealer cost is around $1300.

I bought mine from Ron & Jo's Firearms and Sports Supplies INC.
In O'Fallon IL (618-628-7480)

But I got the only one they had. Might be a while before anymore come there way. They seems to be a big demand, and little supply......

I sent them an email and asked the price. The email gave no definite time frame on when it would ship.

I was about to place my order online until I noticed their processing fee charge. Does anyone who has dealt with Knesek know how much they charge for these fees? Extra fees to pay with my credit card may be the straw that breaks my back on this deal., since I think it is a crappy policy and usually choose to shop elsewhere out of principle.

The processing fee is a 4% credit card fee. The price they list is cach price. If you plan on using a credit card add 4%.

Dealer cost depends on which distributor the firearm is purchsed from as well, along with their discount if any from that distributor.  My dealer in the Pa. North-East deals with Jerry's Sports Center, his price was just shy of $1400.00, im sure there are fluctuations in those prices as well!
