Anyone know the outside dimension of the barrel under the pinned comp? Also, the the OD of the barrel front of the FSB, I believe it is .75 but not possitive? Thanks

I have .6995 measured, I have a Colt without the comp installed.

There is a small step down under the comp that is dual pinned on. It was made to leave room to further turn down and thread for a FH. The barrel is the exact same dimensions of a regular 6920 16" barrel, just not threaded.

My step down measures .6995 exactly.

I drove the pins out and removed it. Found out what I needed to know. Thanks guys

don't know exactly, but it is probably .6995 like you said. all I needed to know was whether or not it was close to .498. anyhow, that wasn't the case thanks everyone.
