| I thought it was significant that for the first time that I can remember Colt attended the Swat Round Up in Orlando FL. Just a theory but maybe since the M4 sole source contract is about to expire Colt is starting to look more closely at the LE/Civilian market. They had Class 3 and semi auto LE rifles on their table including the 6940. I also stopped by the Sabre Defense table and was told that they were just recently awarded an M16 contract for the military. Another reason why Colt maybe looking more toward the LE/Civilian market. Just speculation at this time. |

At one time you could even put a deposit on the LE1020 everyone was so sure it was coming out. looked in that thread lately? I think they will start to offer more to us soon. This last run of MT rifles got me thinking that. And some upgrades of CNC to the factory. Politics will have a big influence on what colt will do in the next year. Im sure they got their eye more on the LE market though |
