Anyone have any experience with Colt's service? I am experiencing some unusual wear on my hammer, the whole thread is in the Troubleshooting section. Typically how long does it take them to evaluate the rifle, send me the detailed repair list, repair, and then ship my baby back to me?

In my experience it has taken anywhere from 5 business days to 25 business days for repairs.  They will tell you 35 business days is the standard turn-around time.

I sent my upper to them (story here).  They replied with a letter and told me what they were going to do pretty quickly.  They estimated it at 30 business days.  They said they were going to just give me a whole new upper assembly, barrel and all.  But it's been 25 business days already, so they may be replacing just the upper receiver.  I'll post w/ pics when it comes back.
