Im not sure if this is a stupid question, but im going to ask it anyways and suffer the consequences later......Is there a Bayonet for the M4. Something that would fit on lets say an LE6920. And also if you put a bayonet on, is there some sort of modification you have to do, or does it just fit right on?

Im still a noob!

There are some bayonets out there that will work on a 14.5" and on a 16".  Don't know what catalogue I've seen them offered in, but they are out there.

Yes, there is a bayonet for the M4. It's called an M9, and works on the M16A2/A4 as well. However, and LE6920 is not an M4 - it doesn't enjoy the same barrel length (14.5" vs. 16.1"), and if you mount an M9 on an LE6920, the barrel ring will fall behind the flashhider, instead of on the rear like it should. I think PreBanArms.com sells a modified variant of the M7 bayonet that is extended so it will work properly on 16" barrels.

yep. you can use standard bayonet on 16'' midlegth barrels

as said before, this is the only kind of bayo that will work on 16'' carbine barrels
