FF on LE6920 > Colt

Im thinking about putting a FF Handguard on my colt LE6920 and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or opinions. Thank you

I havent really looked at the LaRue, but i was kind of interested in the Daniel Defense. How do you think the DD compares to these others.

There is a plethora of info in the this FF review thread

The DD is often preferred due to its oval design. Much like the M4 guards are

ETA: I just copied this quote from senior manager at Knights re: the DD. The conclusion is the KAC or DD are good choices. Perhpas the KAC a better one given their overall Customer Service

the DD set-up is an exact copy of our KAC FF RAS

not a very good photo of the rail, but the point is I think enough of the DD to mount it on one of mine.

Honestly, I think the LaRue is nice also but i really dont care for the logo or the text. I want something that is pretty plain, and so far all i've seen is the DD unless there are others.

Take a close look at the Knights Armament (KAC) RAS.

A. Most rails in our military are Knights

B. Its a Free Float rail

C. Low profile logo

D. The are beautiful and functional at the same time

I have the KAC FF RAS on my 6920. Can't say that I've had any other rails to compare it to, but I am absolutely happy with it.

I was also wondering if all FF are open at the end. I kind of like the look of them not being open....I hope that makes sense and you guys know what im talking about. But if nothing else im not going to sacrifice quality with cosmetics.
