I was looking at the colt picture thread and realized that the "prancing pony" on my receiver was either partially buffed out or over anodized. It is barely discernable. My rifle is a pre-sunset 6920 from SAW. Only a very minor annoyance but wondering if anyone else has had or seen similiar. Two other minor issues are that my four piece rod came without a t-handle and I got a semi-auto full cut carrier, bummer. Otherwise excellent rifle. |
| I have yet to see a factory Colt come with a T section, as far as I know they dont use it. My 6721 upper looks like someone went freestyle with a grinding wheel. The lower and carrying handel have excessive flash. On the lower the MIAD G3 cover the flash and the CH is in the safe. 1/2 moon as well, only mine eats a FPRP every 2.5k rounds. I have a CMT protected FP carrier in there now to see if the problem goes away. |
