That will give you a great looking 6921 - in spite of how the great State of Illinois would want it. since this is a 6933 thread, I want to share an interesting (to some) bit of trivia. Mine has a C stamped in the inside charging handle track - No other Colt uppers that I own have this. These Colt roll-marks and stampings are becoming as cryptic as those used on HK weapons.   The upper had a C also stamped on the outside - again, unique in my gun case  signed, easily amused |

| Rob is great. It is rare to walk in the shop when he is not crowded and doing 10 things at once. I trust him 100%. Sometimes he can seem a little absent minded, but that is just because he is an overworked one man show. I have bought about 10 guns through him and sold 3-4. Everthing went smooth. |

From all the discussion of the 6933, and having picked up on it late in the game, I wandered over to Clyde Armory - about 4 blocks from me - and casually inquired about availbility of any 11.5" Colt AR15s, expecting bad news. My jaw dropped when he handed me a 6933 M4LE and said a few hundred are incoming. Handed over my $100 down payment today. Joy! |

Glad more of these will be available, but kind of hurts the "exclusiveness" of the first batch from JB arms. Congrats on your pending purchase. I think either way there won't be all that many in civilian hands compared to other models like the 6920. Did Clyde's give you an approximate time frame? Just wondering if the info they gave you was different from their website. |
I just sold a high end 45 to pay for one of these. What was the price they quoted you? Im going to call them tomorrow and pull the trigger on this deal. I called Clydes today and these are not due in until July or later.  Id buy a 10" from SAW but Im not sure how much that inch less will affect things like freefloats, sight bases and suppressors. Plus I have not called them yet to see if they have any stock. Im trying to call JBArms as well but Im not sure which way to go at the moment. Shit.

Go JBARMS! Howard is 100% to deal with. Don't worry about accessories with the 10", I believe the barrel length is taken off before the FSB, so the FSB is in the same spot, so FF, etc, all should be the same. Ask SAW to double check for sure though. Either one is a good deal...Just do it the arfcom way: GET BOTH! |

IM IN!!! I called Howard at JB today and he had a VERY few left. As in about 4 or 5 I think. They were actually ones that had been spoken for backed out of or not responded to emails for finalizing the deal. I gave him a CC number on the spot. Im in process of getting my FFL set up to transfer to him so I can start MY transfer. I HOPE to be able to take it home in April. Now I have 2 NFA items in the works. My Ruger MkIII 22/45 just arrived last week from SRT after getting a integral suppressor job. Its scarry quiet.  In a month or two Im PROBABLY going to go with a ACC can for this. Just wait till I show up for a 3 gun match with this

Im curious how long the form 3 transfer to my guy here in town will take. Howard assured me as soon as the form 3 is processed its ready to ship. Do you know a dealer who has the ACC M4 in stock?? |

I'm a little late joining this thread. Mine was shipped by JB Arms to my dealer in July. Transfer to me in late September. I now have a 1000 rounds through it and it runs flawlessly. One things that's weird about it. When I flip the selector switch all the way around it fires in full-auto. Does anyone else's do that? Just joking about the full-auto part.

Must be Class III FFL My (regular) FFL told me he was certified, and wasn't Screw up ended up costing me more than a month .  Class III FFL's charge a bit more, as well. Or at least mine did, but he was worth it since he helped me out with all the nuances associated with the paperwork, etc. |

Technically speaking, I believe a regular FFL dealer can accept the transfer. He's just not a tax exempt SOT and the transaction will cost you an extra $200 to transfer the NFA to him. |

No, I do not believe so. I have read that the 1020 (16" version) and 1033 (11.5" version) are due in late summer, fall time-frame Several dealers are accepting deposits or offering a "wait list" for them now. My post was a reference to getting the short upper and mounting it to a registered SBR lower I already have (The same 6921 lower the new ones come with) |
