Provided the ban ends (hopefully), what issues will I run into if I decide to converge my new Eagle Arms lower & Colt SP1 upper? I know about the difference in pin hole sizes, but that can be handled with an adapter, I presume. Thanks.

The adapter pin should be the only problem you run into. I've gathered there's a couple different styles and one is better than the other. But I've never used any of them, one rifle - one upper. Maybe someone with experience will chime in.
