Now, this is not quite as cool as Stokes', but I have regretted not buying one of these as my first AR for many years now. So, with the excuse of my 40th birthday, I bought this:

My R6550 Govt Model on top.
The R6550's are my all time favorites, less than 10,000 made if I recall correctly.
I bought mine NIB and will never sell it.
However, I would like to have it re-done in STOKES fashion though.

I've got one of those myself. I really like the R6550, as the R6600 is just too damn heavy for no good reasons.

When I was really starting to put Colts in the back of my safe, I had a different gun, but then this one came along. I've got the box and all the papers with it, but I believe it has probably been fired. I got it because of the mistake in the markings. Everything about this gun is a R6550, including the serial number prefix, other than the mistake of the model name.
