Colt Scope > Colt

I recently bought a 3x20 scope. I is almost mint and in the white box, without instructions.
I need help on this. Is the slotted screw on one side and the knurled knob on the other side for windage adjustment? Does anyone know where I could get an instruction sheet, or if there is someone who could email me a scanned copy of one? I would sure appreciate anything.

Doug, Don't mess with the screwhead on the left side of the scope, it holds the internals together. I may have a set of instructions for a 3X Colt scope at home. Let me check tonight, and if I do, I'll mail it to you tomorrow. ed

Under the cap on the right side (looking from the rear of the scope) is a slotted screw with a kind of funny dished out slot (made for a cartridge rim). This screw is your windage adjustment. Sorry I forgot to look for the 3X instruction manual last night, I will bring it tomorrow if I can find it and mail it to you if you'll give me an address. ed

On my colt scope there is a knob on the right side with a bunch of little lines to adjust but I don't think there is a screw? Could you be more detailed please, thanks

On the left side of the tube, as you would look through it. There is a slotted screw. The other side, I found out from nortexed, is a removable cap to adjust for windage.
