Howdy there,
Looking to add yet another Vortex to the collection... already have 6 or 7. But this one needs to withstand a 458Socom SBR, and I want an etched reticle due to aging eyes and an astigmatism. is the Spitfire prism the only option, as far as a no-to-low power? I have a Strike Eagle, and while I love it I want to stay with more of a red dot-ish type optic for the 458Socom with more eye relief. It'll be used primarily as a weapon slung on my back while I'm out fishing here in Alaska in bear country. I have a set of iron sights on it, and would like to co-witness them (or lower 1/3 preferred) them with the optic. Suggestions? Ideas? Thinking nothing is needed more than 3 or 4x as if it needs to be used (hopefully never), it'll be pretty damn short and fast. |
