| I was going to buy the VMX3 magnifier with swing mount to put behind my Aimpoint PRO but heard reports that the rubber cover will hit my Magpul MBUIS and not work.... Anyone else hear this or have first hand knowledge of my question... If it isn't an issue plz feel free to post up some pics... Thanks! |
| Indeed, it will hit your MBUS. There is one rear sight that I know of that will fit under the swing mount- Knight Armament makes one. However, some users have shaved out a small portion of the rubber on the magnifier to get it to clear. Otherwise, I would recommend not using the backup irons on the rifle while trying to use the swing mount. Thank you for your interest and if you have any other questions, please let us know. |
