| Hello looking at the crossfire series scopes for just standard plinking and such on a hmr .17 rifle . Maybe im nuts but i could have sworn there used to be a 4-12x40 scope listed with the V-brite reticle am i nuts or did you discontinue that version? so i looks like my options are currently 3-9x40 or a 6-18x44 . If i like it i may put it on my AR which one do you think would be best for 25-200 yard shooting. |

I'm not sure if any of our dealers still have that model in stock, but you could try googling and see if you can still find it. Otherwise either the 3-9x40 or the 6-18x44 would work. I would probably lean towards the 6-18x44 to get the parallax adjustment. That will come in handy when shooting at really short range, such as 25yards. |

| I believe we only have one sample V-brite Crossfire II on the sales floor right now. It is a 3-9X40 model. We have started shipping some Crossfire IIs to dealers but we do not have the V-brite models shipping out yet. If you'd like to come have a look at the model on the sales floor, please stop in.
