Purchased 2 Vortex Viper 1-4 PST's for a friend and I. This was his first AR, which I built for him (WOA 16" barrel, Rainier Arms upper, RRA 2-stage Lower, TROY TRX FF, Magpul stock and grip). I placed my PST on a new 6.8 build using an ARP barrel/bolt.
Due to his budget restrictions I recommended the Viper PST. While breaking in his barrel the gun fell off the bench when a huge gust of wind knocked over the stand it was cradled in. The elevation turret took a direct hit and subsequently canted, making it difficult to turn. He called Vortex CS to tell them all about his ordeal and even though it was 100% his fault they reassured him that all would be fine. He sent it in and received it back a few days ago. ~7-10 days turn around time and no charge to him other than the initial shipping cost. They even paid for 2nd Day Fed Ex return shipping. Today he went to the range to continue his barrel break in/sight in and texted me this photo of his 5 shot group with the message "She's Back!": 
He couldn't be happier and now praises Vortex's CS as a major selling point to other prospective optics buyers. His friend who recently acquired his first AR is now set on getting the same optic.
