Just picked up one of your SPARC optics and really like it.

I would like to pick up spare batteries just in case.  I see it takes a Lithium CR2354 3v coin battery.
In looking them up on line I see a huge price difference.  What brand do you recommend?    I don't want to have this thing crap out on me because i went cheap on the power source.

I would stick with a name brand. The Panasonic ones on Amazon are probably fine and seem to be better priced than the Energizer.

Thanks, there was no name on the batteries that came with the optic so I thought I better ask.

No problem. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Ok, since you offered....

I am new to micro dots, what is a good quick detach mount for the Sparc?  I have an irrational fear of any electronic sight croaking on me and needing the irons.  (I have all QD mounts for me Aim Points and EoTech as well so I am not picking  on Vortex)

I would look at Larue or ADM. Both make good QD mounts. The ones made for the T1 should fit the SPARC. Although the SPARC sits just a little bit higher. The "HK" Larue model should co-witness with the SPARC. ADM makes "SOCOM" and "CAS-V" height versions, but I'm not sure which one works best with the SPARC, so you might want to ask ADM.
