| Can we get an actual picture of the reticle if possible? I'm considering one of the 2-7 vipers and this would really help. Thanks. |
| Wow that was actually faster than I expected. I am defenitely buying one of these scopes, after all the good talk on this website, I just have to figure out with reticle I want. Sam, do you think the crosshairs in this reticle are too thin for low light hunting applications? Thanks for all your help. |

Sam, do you think the crosshairs in this reticle are too thin for low light hunting applications? Thanks for all your help. I think it depends on how low light. If you're talking dusk and dawn I think you'll be fine. I personally find non-illuminated crosshairs to be much easier to see in low light than most people think. But if it's going to be completely dark out you would probably have some trouble. What kind of hunting are you doing? -Sam |

Quoted: Its going on a 6.8 for deer hunting. I can't decide on the BDC reticle or this one. If it were me I'd go with the BDC. That will give you the ability to do holdovers at longer ranges and take advantage of that 6.8. I'm not sure if there would be a whole lot of difference in the visibility between the two reticles in low light. To me the C3 is more of a close range, faster shooting type of reticle. I'll see if I can get a picture through a BDC for you later today so you can compare them side by side. -Sam |
