I'm leaning toward getting a Strikefire and have a couple questions.

Does the RED only version have NV capability?

and

Saw in a review of the scope it was at least waterproof the 4 feet, does anyone know or tested the maximum depth it can handle?

Yes, the red only version also has NV capability.



The max depth is right around 4 feet. It could go deeper, but if you left it submerged for a long period of time it would eventually get water in it if you were much deeper than 4ft.



It's certainly plenty waterproof for any wet conditions you might encounter, short of scuba diving with it.

Not looking to go diving with it, but we do have some wet areas in SE Virginia. Just want to know if I fall in a hole how high I have to keep the gun up.

Looks like I'll be order one.
