Working on my ultimate upper in 6.5 and, I'm hanging my head in shame on this. How in the world do I get the butt stock open to get the cleaning rods out? I've watched videos, googled, etc and I'm pushing the button and pulling, prying, hitting it with my purse....nothing.

Any tips? Or am I being trolled and these stocks don't have the removable butt plate?

Put a 5.56 round in the hole in the in the butt plate. When you have it pushed all the way in, pull down on the butt plate with the round and it slides off. The butt plate slides up from the bottom. Pm me and I can take a video for you.

Push the button in really far then push from the narrow end towards the wider end.

You have to push the button in far enough.

Ok I'll try again this morning. I thought I read in one of the other threads they were in there, but I could be wrong. Once I get into mine I'll update.

Yes the cleaning kit is included. It's listed on the site at the very bottom of the page in the "what's included" section

Have you dun did it yet?

Don't push from the bottom up, push from the top down. Holding the majority of the stock in your primary hand, thumb pushing downward on the buttpad, whilst depressing the button with a 5.56 cartridge's projo with your weak hand.
