Finally getting around to putting this thing together. Quick question on the handguard screws though. Thirty to forty pounds of torque and some blue loctite sound right?
I still need irons/optic and to change out the CH; just using a USGI one for now.

On the handguard screws? I just put them on heavy finger tight.

Thanks, yes the 4 on the flange. I suppose I can always go back and add some loctite if the need arises.

No more than 20 in/lbs and blue loctite. I asked a while back and mfingar provided that info.

i've been shooting mine for around 6 months pretty heavily and used no loctite and the screws have not backed off any.

Thanks guys, I just went heavy finger tight without loctite as S2S suggested. Already had it done and in the safe before other replies rolled in. I usually keep some small tools in my range bag along with some thread locker.
