| Any tips on ammo for 556 tobr. First ar and just want to get an idea of what it likes to eat. Haven't got in to reloading yet so off the self options please. Any other tips for a first time ar guy would be nice. Been on the M1A setup and decided to add a Larue to the collection, so trying to get familiar with the new girl. |

Go shooting in the sticks so it is a mix. Small holes, till the critters show them selves. But no I am not burning up the tactical corse. Just trying to get a place to start. Will probably get a few types to try just wanted to be in the ballpark. It will eat anything for you're purposes 
Typically I used 855 or 193 but this state doesn't prohibit FMJ for hunting. |
