Hope it goes better than what happened to my dad. Had a Kimber stolen in Minneapolis. He filed an insurance claim and had it replaced. 4 years later the Kimber was recovered. Since the insurance company had replaced it, MPD destroyed it. |

So if this was your gun and you had to hire a attorney,how much would you spend to get it back?
I just don't see why he even would need a attorney in the first place,he has his receipt from larue,has pictures of the gun prior to being stolen and has a police report from when it was stolen. In my opinion it is total bullshit to need more than that to get it back.i guess if it was mine I'd have to bug the shit out of them for a few weeks just to see if they would do the right thing return it.if not I think I'd be willing to spend 3k trying to get it back.after that with no gaurentee I'm not sure how much further I'd take it.at a certain point it is like throwing good money after bad. Good luck narc hope you get it back soon Pete |

All the stuff ended up on Craigslist advertised by the Minneapolis PD. My guy went straight over there to claim it when he saw it. No dice, had to buy it back if he wanted it. |
