Ok I just finished my first upper Build. BCM upper, LaRue Stealth Barrel, LaRue low profile gas block and tube, Vortex Flash Suppressor, VLTOR/BCM gunfighter charging handle, MI Gen 3 M-LOC rail, Magpul MLOK panels and hand stop. Centurion Arms BGG, MBT on order (Come on 12/28 dates). Current glass is Nikon M223 with Nikon mounts. I've pretty much made up my mind on the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 for the optic. It seams like a good value to price optic, and offers quick target acquisition (I have three other builds I need to finish so cost have to be saved somewhere.) Back to the point, I need a mount. I realize it might sound crazy to spend 2/3 the cost of the optic on the mount but I'd rather pay a premium for a quality QD mount. For the money that optic stands as the best deal for my situation. (completing the family builds in a timely manner.)
