mid-December? I ordered the day it came out and am nfa pending.

If you seek to do battle with me this day, you will receive the best that I am capable of giving. It may not be enough, but it will be everything I have to give, and it will be impressive.

The 41P final rule was order by DOJ yesterday, it takes effect 180 days after the order date.
The silver lining; the CLEO "certification" has been changed to merely "notification". This means photos and finger prints for "responsible persons" on a trust, but the CLEO only needs to be "notified" of the application. For those of you living under a rock, here is an ongoing thread on it that I rolled out back in September 2013: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1536761_ATF_41P_NFA_CLEO_sign_off_for_Trusts_1_4_16_41P_ENACTED__fingerprints_photos_BUT_no_CLEO_sig.html&page=1 |

Does this mean finger prints and photos with each form 1 and form 4 submitted? Or does it mean finger prints and photos on file at aft for the responsible persons on the trust?
Thanks for the info, Fr8dog ETA: It looks like if you have had a form approved in the previous 24 months and nothing has changed that you will not have to re submit prints and photos. My fellow Americas are we going to stand for this? |

Has anyone compared this against other cans? I am seriously considering one.
|
|
|
It's probably on par with Silencerco, Surefire, etc. but one of the strongest aspects is that it's designed around an LT gas system, which is why I cancelled my order for a different can very shortly following the TQ release. If you have an LT, why wouldn't you want a can designed with their gas system in mind? Seems like the reliability will be that much better, especially when you consider their other releases these past few years (tOBR's & in-house barrels).

I've seen one range report here, but I think that guy is either a dealer or has a dealer that allows full contact conjugal visits. I'll compare it to a SF SOCOM and Liberty Mystic X when mine comes available, but I do not own the sound pressure equipment necessary to do it right. (Maybe I could even cajole Mark into doing that at his range since I'm doing the Valet service.) |

I have yet to see any sound level tests on a 308,but the 5.56 results seem promising, now id mark can jest get the orders rolling out the door before I need finger prints and photos to be submitted with my trust.not that it is a huge deal but it is just another hoop to jump through on the way to own something that should not be regulated in the first place.

How many guys are still waiting on first release,L.E.P.E of faith orders. I have 2 on order from the beginning can't wait to get them but now with the new trust laws coming into play I'd like to get my paperwork in sooner than later and maybe slip these in before I need to send my wife's prints in as she is not going to do that.

Same here. usually the transfer to my SOT/FFL person takes 30 days max, then we can begin the Form 4 waiting game. It's now working on month 4 and no word to him on when he gets the transfer completed. I checked in with LaRue, my guys paperwork is good to go but apparently there are others taking some time to get it sorted out. Not sure how that should effect my end though. Frustrating to say the least, when what should be another month till I take ownership is now, if the transfer goes in today, an 8-12 month process.

My card was charged at the beginning of November and still no dice. Never had a form 3 take this long before.
|
|
|
From the looks of it, 1 batch was made and then the focus shifted over to the ToT sale, the MBT sale, and the FDE PredatAr. Tranquillos went on the backburner.
Maybe he's hoping for the few that got theirs to shoot them and iron out any kinks before he starts them up again. Who knows |

My order is from the first day, charged and still no movement to dealer

According to silencer shop, paper form 3's from 12/01/2015-12/15/2015 are currently being approved. I ordered sept 3rd and was nfa-pending on sept 4th. That's a pretty big gap in the timelines.

I thought the cans would be moving since I got billed in Nov. And hope to see movement soon!

Has anyone with a form 4 called to check when the forms got to the NFA branch?
|
|
|
I didn't call the branch, but my check was cashed om 12/23/2015. They received them on the 17th.
I always send them Priority mail so I can have a tracking number. Individual, paper filed, Form4 |

For those that have been charged, what day did you order? I was in the evening of the first day and haven't been charged. Not in a rush but need to plan for next hunting season. |
|

day 1 hour 1

I called Larue today, they said your card gets charged when the form 3 goes out to ATF.

FYI, I was poking around NFA tracker last night. It looks like paper form 4's for a trust would project out to about a 6 month wait at this time based on the trend of wait time increase currently. Individual F4's are much, much faster (though with much less data) and appear to be 60-90 days. That means, I believe, that if someone filed an individual F4 on a day 1 hour 1 Tranquilo, we should be getting range reports in the next 30 days or so depending on how long the prints/cleo stuff took to get done after the form 3 (or faster for Valet customers, possibly).

ordered 9/9 Texas Valet, no form started yet.
Just waiting to hear from Larue :) |

When asked if people point their muzzle up or down at the range when not shooting, bblake00 replies:
"I just point them at people walking to change their targets and dryfire while going bang bang with each pull of the trigger." |

View Quote Well that isn't good on the jump to 6 months. That plus the form 3 only gives me 1-2 months of buffer time before hunting season. Have a new spot I can hunt I'm really excited about, just agreed to use a suppressor to help not spook the livestock. |
