Will a Vortex Sparc work with a single 1 inch scope mount? Obviously I would prefer a mount designed specifically for the Sparc, but would like pretty much any QD mount versus the current factory mount. A QD rail underneath the low mount is still too high....... If I have time tonight, I think I will access my stash of non-LaRue scope mounts and see if one will work..... I have a stash because they have all been replaced on my weapons with LaRue mounts!!!!
UPDATE: 1 inch scope mount will not work with the Sparc. Couldn't check to see if 30MM mount would work, cause I don't have a regular set anymore.... Just an extra set of 30MM rings for an LT-104....... |

| I was thinking It would be real easy to make a conversion spacer to use this mount with the Doctor/Eotech sight ? I want to cowitness with irons anyway I may have to try this myself ? More than one way to skin a cat. |

More than one way to skin a cat. Looks like you could grind off the tits sticking up and drill/tap your own holes.... If the LT 751 holes are in the correct locations, that would be the mount I want to use on the AR pistol. I plan on putting a set of flip up sights on the railed 870 with the Sparc on it. I would certainly need to use a low profile mount on it and on the AK with the forward rail I am using rather than the tall LT 751.......... |
