Governor Palin posted the following on her Facebook wall: God bless our troops, especially our snipers. Hollywood leftists: while caressing shiny plastic trophies you exchange among one another while spitting on the graves of freedom fighters who allow you to do what you do, just realize the rest of America knows you're not fit to shine Chris Kyle's combat boots. May the epic "American Sniper" bring nothing but blessings to Taya and the children of this true American hero. Thank you Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood for respecting the United States Military. - Sarah Palin |

Whatever, somebody had to say it. Please, enlighten us unlearned hillbillies as to your factual and substantial grievance toward Mrs. Palin. It's one thing to be on the right side of an issue, and another to constructively bring people over to the right side of the fence. On the issues I agree with her on, which are many, I think she does a poor job advocating them. Oftentimes, the louder one shouts, the less people listen regardless of merit. So, I'll clarify, I don't dislike her as a person, but I dislike her commentary on issues I care deeply about because, not living in a conservative vacuum, I see that it's most often a hindrance to moving the chains. Maybe you'll allow me to keep my head, maybe not. |

While I appreciate and support Mrs. Palin's comments, I have to go with n00g on this one. I am going to catch hell from the brothers but look at her record in AK versus her news clips. There is a big contrasts to be made. But I'll just make wild allegations on the internet, and not support them unless someone cares |

That's the sentiment that has yielded us spineless nominees and an overall lack of credibility for years due to the fact that as you appease those with weak stomachs and who worry about the precious idependent vote, you end up doing nothing more than ehoing the libtard ideology.

The media successfully destroyed this poor woman, and it sounds like you bought into the narrative. Sure, you can cherry-pick silly things she said as much as any other politician. But, she was blasted for her statement about the magazines she read and the "I can see Russia from here" (which she never said and was wrongfully attributed to her from an SNL skit) while BHO claimed there were 57 states and pronounced "corpsman" without the silent "P". Republicans can continue to negotiate away our freedom for the sake of compromise. But, it does nothing but destroy this country. The very foundation of our government was designed to make it difficult to pass things and work together. The separation of powers limits the ability to nefarious individuals to impose tyranny. It's too bad that the liberal media have successfully convinced people that the Constitution is "extreme, radical, right-wing." Meanwhile, the can-we-all-just-get-along crowd allow the eroding of our liberty and freedom because they want to be agreeable. Half of a turd is still a turd. |

On must first demonstrate the facts and statistics that bear out the result, and then no matter how unsettling the result is, it's simply the result and unassailable. Allow your opponents to shout and crush them with superior knowledge and rhetoric at every turn. One has to look no further than the lack of success liberals have with gun control legislation outside of their strongholds to see how far unsubstantiated shouting gets you. Eventually it falls flat. |

Soonerman is right. Meanwhile, the can-we-all-just-get-along crowd allow the eroding of our liberty and freedom because they want to be agreeable. Half of a turd is still a turd. I won't disagree that the media ran her into the ground. The media could certainly have run BHO into the ground in the same way, but they weren't going to tarnish their golden boy on the campaign trail (i.e, they RARELY if EVER ran unscripted townhall videos). That whole situation is perhaps the most obvious example of how the media can sway public perception and thus the vote. However, the actions of the media were to be expected from the beginning. She was ill prepared for the media shit storm John McCain threw her into to begin with and inept campaign management sealed her fate. Granted, I don't think anyone could have beaten BHO in 2008 because the sheep were out in force, but certainly Palin need not have been destroyed in the media during the process. But again, the media was able to crush her because she does not effectively support her assertions -- she has yet to improve in this area. |

ETA. Be glad you were spared of that.
