Looking for a scope for a 7.62 16" OBR. I'm thinking a NF 5.5-22x50. Now I can't decide which reticle to go with. I have not done much long range shooting.  The facility I use has a 600 yard range that I plan on eventually using. However, I plan on sticking with the 200 and 300 yard ranges until I become more comfortable with the rifle and using a higher power scope than what I am used to.  Any recommendations on which reticle will be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I went with a NF F1 3.5-15x50 NPR-F1 on the same rifle in an LT-111 mount. No regrets thus far.

I've used the MOAR reticle in my NXS, ATACR and BEAST optics from NF ... All solid

For the price you really can't beat the New Bushnell series LR scopes.  The big named scopes (NF, US Optics, etc..) are awesome don't get me wrong if you got the cash to drop on them.  If you don't this one might be a good one to look at.  Bushnell has stepped up their game on these new scopes/optics and love the 2 recticles you can choose from (H59,and TRMR2).  Just throwing another option in the mix if you still looking around.

I will admit, the H59 on the Bushy is pretty nice.  Just a matter of preference really ... I dig the MOAR is all ...

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely take a look at the NPR-F1 and MOAR reticles on the nightforce scopes. That bushnell looks really solid also.

USO 5X-25x or 3.2-18X Gen II XR Reticle or Gap reticle...
Nightforce F1
Leupold Mark 6 3-18x Horus Reticle
Bushnell HDMR Gap Reticle

Or you could just go big and get a S&B 3-20x ...

Hahaha. Unfortunately, the S&B is out of my price range. Is the F1 reticle the same as the NP-R1?

F1 is the model, I think...Reticle is in the First focal plane..

For the NF F1 reticle I would go with the LV.5 ....

OP, I use the NF 3.5 x 15 NPR1
On my 16 OBR, if I did it again it would be the 5.5 x 22 same NPR1

That NP RF1 looks good!

More power is good thing.

Edit pics and another .02.....

3.5-21 bushnell with tremor 2 reticle here
If it were me in your shoes I'd give the HDMR with Horus reticle a good look, much more compact than the nightforce
