When are you going to make a 300 blackout barrel for a PredatOBR ?
Seems to me the right thing to do for a rifle I can easily change barrels on......

We've been through this self-inflicted mental trauma before.  I sincerely hope that LT gets into the 300blk market, but many of us have posted requesting the same thing only to be met with silence.  Personally I think a 300 PredatAR would be tits... but alas, nothing yet.

That being said, it takes a considerable amount of time to bring something like that to market.  While the blackout platform itself is a simple change-over from the original AR, when your company is known for producing high quality wares, you don't want to risk damaging that relationship with your customers by delivering a sub-standard, rushed, ill-conceived product.  Ensuring the highest quality takes a lot of testing and troubleshooting consuming a massive amount of time and money, which I'm sure is being sunk into barrel production at the moment.

Then there are those who believe the history between LaRue and AAC are what's keeping a 300 blackout from the LT lineup.  I, for one, think that's hogwash.  Ass-kissery aside, LaRue Tactical didn't get where it is today by making stupid business decisions.  If there is a demand for a 300 blackout LaRue, I'm sure they will deliver.  But right now they have over a year (I think) back log on 5.56 and 7.62 rifles that has to be cleared.

Patience Iago...

Besides, there's nothing stopping you from purchasing a 5.56 PredatAR or OBR, yanking the barrel, and installing a 300blk barrel

As far as the tOBR goes, I think you're SOL
