I am not mechanically inclined but I want to put a Larue 12 inch rail on my Colt 6920. It currently has a Larue 7 inch rail. What mods would I have to make to get the 12 inch rail on there. Front sight would have to come off and I assume I would need a gas block but is there anything else? Thanks in advance gents...

| I did the same with my 6920, but used a 10in rail. I used a larue lo profile gas block. Found it on the EE for about $50. Works great. I'm sure other brands will work to. The larue has 2 set screws that you tighten down to the barrel. Then I had adco pin the GB when they had the upper doing some other work to it. |
