Sorry, but I am having issues w/second guessing. I was getting the predatAR in 16" 5.56. Seems like a nice lightweight, accurate rifle, but the predatOBR kinda seduced me. Only thing is she seems kinda big (and spendy)?! Is 7.9 Lbs on just 14.5" too heavy (I ordered the 16.1)? Cuz, thats w/nothin' on her. Like I said, sorry but my mind is messin' w/me. Somebody save me from myself

Take the dillo dust that comes with the LaRue stuff, sprinkle it on some red meat, eat red meat. Weight of rifle will no longer be an issue
I shot off hand, at times, with a OBR 7.62 heavy with a bunch of junk on it. Including a heavy scope. You get used to the weight
