Ladies and Gents,
I having a tough time deciding on what Larue Rifle to purchase next. I own a 16in OBR Heavy and 18in TAR 5.56 already, I'm just now trying to decide which one I want next. Of course I know there is a wait, not everyone can get a OBR ordered and delivered within a week like I did last year but that gives me some time to get the wife onboard. I figure atleast a year of I'm sorry's should work. Anyways should I get the TOBR or the TAR in 308? This seems to be the 3K-5K question. What is the weight difference between the OBR heavy, the TOBR 308 , and the TAR 308? Main use would be Hunting but nothing over 1000 yds. I put my rifles to work but nothing like a Carbine Class or a Precision Rifle Class. Any informative insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Reason being, you can multipurpose it in a matter of minutes now that its the new 'suitcase rifle'. Simply switch out the barrel from 14.5" to 20" for what ever you intend to use it for on any given day. |
