There's a thread in GD, but the story coming out is that he and the other victim took somebody to range and the person they took then killed them and fled in Kyle's truck. Sounds like he was caught already. Sad news.

I just don't understand why. This guy has done nothing but wonderful things, even beyond his service. Helping guys out with PTSD, and a guy snaps and shoots him? I really think we need to check our six more often now.

We are truly diminished. I was able to speak with Chris Kyle at length. He was a normal country guy who was humble but stood for what he believed. He loved his country, his family, and fellow war fighters. My prayers for him and his family.

Speechless...That is SO messed up!

I just read Chief Kyles' autobiography last week, and I'm in awe of his service record.

A TRUE AMERICAN HERO!

I was having a nice weekend date with the wife..and now this...she wants to know why I'm stomping around the house yelling "aww...WTF!"

A very well respected and decorated Navy Seal sniper. He was in the Navy from 1999 until 2009.
As it looks right now, he was not killed due to his military service.
It looks like he was helping a guy or group of guys with PTSD and one of them snapped.
The guy has been caught.
