I have a Trijicon 5-20x50 Accupoint scope that I plan to mount on my 7.62 OBR 18"
Should I go with the SPR line of QD mounts or the OBR line (LT111) with QD. I really don't understand the how one would be better than the other and I've looked at numerous OBRs that use both. Can someone with experience with these give me a hand..? Thanks |

It says it is for the obr to match the 20moa setup,, what that means to the optic mount I have no freakn clue. Hopefully someone here will know whats up. Just wanted to bump you back to p1 |

From what I take on the 2 different items is the ring clamping whether vertical or horizontal. And the ability to lineup other optics (nightvision) in line on the OBR without having to find shims or another set of matching rings. Plus a possible expanded internal distance for the obr mount.

lt-104 1.5 ya looks like its the design and maybe a slight diff in height, I think the diff in design is because the obr has a solid top rail (not 2 sections) and you do not have to worry about bridging the rails (optics mount is clamped on upper and handguard) I do not have a OBR and with the position of my rings and the scope if I tried a 111 it would defiantly be halfway mounted on my freefloat rail. esp with the eye relief on my leopold mark ar 4-12 its about as far forward as my setup will go on my lt104 |

From how it looks the SPR is designed to kick the scope forward while keeping the base secured to the top of the receiver.
LaRue sells the scope I have but they offer it with the SPR style mount. If the OBR mount is designed to work with the OBR (i'm sure it is) what negative or positive effects does the SPR style have for my setup ?? |

I want to get a Nightforce 50mm objective. What's the difference between the LT745 and LT104? What is the best mount for a 30mm tube with 50mm objective lens? EDIT: Going on an AR10. Not going to have a solid/continuous rail so it needs to bridge the barrel nut. |
