MOAB soft case - 12/26/12 ordered range bag - 12/26/12 ordered anyone else have stuff on back order? I'm not surprised about the RISR but the bags a little bit. |

They are busy as hell, as far as i know larue is the only company i could find that makes this sort of thing. I would love it if i got it soon but i can wait if i need to. Guess I should have read this before placing my order yesterday.
RISR APEG grip Said in-stock on the site...check. Confirmation email...check. Next day... Status: Backordered...bastards. Why not just update the site, or shut the f'in thing down if you don't actually HAVE anything to sell? Typical 1-3 weeks in-production message...yeah right...and in three weeks be sure to ask for Mr.Blue--because I'll be sure to hold my breath for it to show up then. Looks like other orders placed 6+ weeks ago still have not got their same items. I thought that Larue was different, but I guess not. |

I ordered a couple mags mid December. Im in no hurry so if they come great. If not oh well.
Are they backed up on shipping in stock items as well? Id like to order a sling, gun case, and maybe a hoodie or something but if everything is backed up Ill just wait for the madness to calm down.. |

A lot of people are in the same boat; I spend a lot at LaRue and have a few backordered items right now as well. It was the same story for every other manufacturer at Shot Show as well.
LaRue isn't a major distributor for magpul of PMAGS. I'd expect their larger volume dealers like midway/brownells to be supplied first... that said, you're sitting a lot better than most. Brownells and Midway aren't taking backorders on pmags right now either. Quoted:

Ordered a TA33G-H and a COM dual mag pouch on Friday. The ACOG should be here tomorrow, the mag pouch is BO.
LaRue is dealing with the same supply issues as everyone else. They are shipping what they have in stock, and they have made a valiant effort to make sure that lowers get out to their owners in case of a worst case scenario taking place. They don't have magic CNC machines that turn out mounts and receivers at twice the rate of their competitors; they don't have a magic aimpoint mine. Want an OBR? Want a LaRue mount? Want any other tactical trinket that only LaRue makes? Get in line. Want to cry because you're not getting exactly what you want when you want it? Go to GD. |
