I'm looking to buy a vise block...kind of leaning towards the wheeler engineering aluminum block. Anyone have a better suggestion?

Thanks !

I have one, haven't used it yet. I got it because it places the force into the barrel extension and I can change a FH/MB without removing a rail to clamp the barrel.

Will it work for an AR-10?

Awesome product! I've never seen that before. I'm going to have to pick one up for my next build.

Only if a AR10 bolt lugs match those on a AR15. The splined end goes into the B/E and that's what transmits the force to the B/E. The rest of the body of the tool is the same diameter as a Bolt Carrier.

I built mine from a block of oak.  Works nicely and I enjoyed making it myself.

My OBR work then?

I think 7.62 uses a larger diameter bolt, but I don't know. I like that it doesn't put any pressure on the upper and you don't have to worry about the 'pin' or gas tube. I think it's a great idea if you're removing a real tight muzzle devise.
