Pulled my SAW from the armory and found a surprise sitting on the top rail.

Hopefully our M16A4s will see some LaRue mounts on them soon as well.

The real question is why would your Armorer put an ACOG on a SAW? That thing should have a CCO on it.

Marine SAWs have SDOs on them, since it comes with an RMR it does both close and far shooting pretty well

What's the timeline for the M27 replacements to be phased in?

I wish the SDO-CPs would come down in price just a smidge, i'd be all over one.

No idea about any time lines for the M27. The grunts will get theirs and I suppose they will start to trickle down to the other units from there. I've heard they are pretty good but you have to carry A LOT of magazines.

This SAW is old but it's been reliable. Can't ask for more.

Full fielding has started and will go on for the next couple years.

It is only going to Infantry and LAR Battalions; there has been discussion of buy them for Recon and MARSOC but that has not been decided.

Didn't know that. We got work we are suppose to get M4s but I'm not holding my breathe.

Mother of God I love a 249!

Once you carry that son of a gun for a year down range, it develops a soft spot in your heart...I always hated those bipods they come with though, replaced mine with a grip-pod ricky tick
