Looking to see if anyone has used FrogLube and how you like it. I'm thinking on using it on my New PreditAR,

Thanks upfront for any and all opinions.

I was interested in it, but if If its the stuff I'm thinking of, the guy was doing a how too on it and he was saying you needed to heat the parts with a Heat Gun or something to really get it going...

I want something I can take to the cabin or to the range and use where every I want...

I love it and it has workes great. I just leave the BCG in sun for a few and its good to go! Wife and i own a nice little cabin (2100 sq feet ) up in the mountains and even during some serious snow. I just leave it in the sun and it works great. With that said would I use it over my CLP and MGL? Freak no! But it does a good job!

The liquid doesnt seem to be any better or worse than clp except the smell. Both Froglubes smell awesome. However the paste is tits IMHO. No running reguardless of how the weapon is stored and sticks like glue, yet everything I put it on becomes smooth as silk. I suppose heating it up would make it a little easier to manipulate, but I use a microfoam brush (read: wifes makeup applicator liberated for duty) and it does great. But as with most things, clp, tw25b, etc ad naseum will work just fine.

Thats the thing I like. I can store the BCG with the paste applied and not have to worry about it migrating. But again CLP and the others work jsut as good. The Frog Lube has a fresh minty smell!

I got some free samples and have been using it on the bcg and on my Sig.

Like Machine Gunners Lube and EWL it doesn't burn off like regular gun oil

Used for about a year and LOVE it.  Used both variations and have nothing but great things to say about both.  Proven to be a very innovative and functional product.

Using it now downrange in AFG. It works pretty well compaired to some other stuff out there. I'm happy with it, and I know some of the guys here that I work with are too.

Been using it for several months on ARs and handguns, works well, does not run, makes cleaning simple. As others have mentioned, let the BCG or anything else sit in the sun, the parts will be warm enough for application of the paste.

I've tried it and so far it seems to work pretty well. The paste was a little different to work with the first time but it gets easier and a little goes a long way. It does work well and it's nice to be able to clean and apply it inside the house, a nice minty smell and completely non-toxic.

I still have my Militec-1 and TW25b though, I don't think I'll ever get rid of that.

Same as most of the other posts.   Been using for a while with no issues.  If I have the opportunity I try to clean at the range;  parts are good and warm.

I use the paste in my 870's... pump arm channels and such.  The only time I used the liquid so far was to clean some duct tape residue off of some mags(worked great).  And to clean my 10/22.  Just used it like CLP for the most part.  Haven't tried to do any heating up of anything.  But it seemed to get the carbon out...

Thanks for all the comments. Here is a video I found with Chris Costa, his Larue and Frog Lube. Think I will give it a try. How much are you guys putting on you BCG?
