I took the finished 16" FDE Stealth to the range today just as it was starting to get dark. At 100 yards, all five shots were inside the smaller circle of the 1" orange dots,....so under 1/2". That was with the bi-pod and a good rest of course, but very impressive. This is the most accurate rifle I have owned.
Before I put them up in the safe, I decided to take a quick group picture. The 16" UDE UHFO Stealth (middle) is waiting for the lowers to arrive, which will be here Wednesday. The 12" Stealth is waiting on the Tax Stamp.

That night I was using some 55gr Hornady V-Max and Hodgdon Benchrest Powder. So far, it has been the tightest shooting. It shoots just a little bit tighter groups than the Nosler. I can get all the Noslers inside the 1" orange dot, but they are spread out more. |
