Regarding this that I saw in another thread Is there any chance of getting an upper only? I was contemplating getting the Noveske 10.5" switchblock upper for my SBR, but I'd rather have one of these, and I'd rather keep my $ here in Texas, but I notice that the 10.5 is not available on the site, and the PredatAR uppers do not appear to be available as uppers only. I just don't want/need to buy another SBR which is why I'm looking at upper only. Thanks ADH

I can confirm that as well. The 10.5's are not available commercially and are only available as a complete rifle package in select fire. The other line of rifles are ONLY sold as a complete rifle, except for the Stealth Uppers. I've had this conversation several times with the guys down in Leander. I have a 12" OBR 556 and would have liked to have had the upper only as I also have a SBR'd lower, but if you really want the LaRue, you're going to have to get the complete rifle. Sorry. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't trade my complete LaRue rifle for anything... it is my favorite and the one I go to. |

I can't point to it specifically, but I have a faint recollection Mark or Mark posting that they aren't releasing uppers to the wild... that said, they have repeatedly told people who have called OBR and PredatAR uppers currently planned to be released by themselves... even for people that already have complete rifles... I note the word "currently", but I am not holding my breath for them to be released in the foreseeable future... |
