| Who is interested in a PredatAR 14.5 with pencil barrel, pinned & welded muzzle device and no port selector technology? |
| Apparently the LaRue 14.5s are actually close to 14" so that the Surefire muzzle device brings them just past 16" instead of being longer than it has to be. This is a good idea, I'm no stranger to cutting barrels to match muzzle devices myself. It means that by suffering a permanently attached muzzle device you lose nearly two inches of length and move your can that much farther back if you use one. And since there is only one barrel nut and handguard for the Predatar, you don't really lose anything by pinning, except the flash hider when you kill the barrel. |

On the LaRue site where it list all the rifles next to PredatAR 5.56 it says there are "(3)". But when you select this item, there are only 2 (18" and 16".) Is this site awaiting an update of a PredatAR in 14.5"? See link below.

as has been brought up in the other threads, the 14.5 predatar is the same as the soon to be released 14.5 predatobr, except for the full auto switch. Thanks and completely aware of the PredatAR 14.5/10.5 mentioned in the LaRue Rifle Brochures from 2011 but this thread is in reference to a PredatAR 14.5 with the same PredatAR pencil barrel in the shorter length. No need for the port selector technology or the OBR barrel. |

A clarification to the poll would help those starting to read up on the 3-5 different threads about it. |
