How do these work? Is the barrel nut and barrel extension a special deal or will any AR barrel work? A special tool needed to remove the nut? Does the handguard just unbolt from the flanged upper?
I am wanting to buy a 5.56 PredatAR pull the barrel and bolt and swap out 6.5 G components. |

Oh come on, some one knows! I want a 6.5 G -PredatAR I guess I will have to do it the hard way and do a barrel swap. Would like to know how problematic its going to be. Maybe they'll introduce the 6.5G PredatAR at SHOT. ![]() Not holding my breath, my luck it would be something lame like 300 BLCK if they add a caliber. |

Im guessing the reason youre getting no responses is that the PredatAR is new and not many people have taken them apart. I only know of a few on here who have to have it painted, but my guess is the rest havent. |

Here is a picture from Titleist1's PredarAR 5.56 build. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6090/6077840525_33cb36f0de_b.jpg welll barrel nut looks easy enough to take off, still need to know about the barrel extension. I am guessing it is the same. |
