I already know one side of the OBR being completely reliable and accurate.  What is your experience with its indestructible qualities.  Have you ever accidentally dropped it, slammed it against a tree, running and dropped yourself into a ditch rifle first slamming it into a rock.  Have any of these possibilities ever happened or others?  As I've been examining it closely I really like the way its engineers designed the hand guard flanging into the upper receiver with four bolts along with other engineering qualities.  So what is your experience?   Of course I'm referring in both 5.56 and 7.62 OBR's

Thanks

Every time I see a thread like that and get reminded how bad ass Mark and his customer service is, I start wanting a OBR heavy even more.

I wonder if that rifle can still function and fire? Did Mark ever say anything about the rifle?

No one will view Larue as a legit or Tier 1 Rifle unless they hire Larry Vickers to toss it out of a Helo, belly flop on it, then fire a few rounds...

Just playin...  Very Loyal customer here, impatiently waiting my goods to ship...

And makin a list as to what I need/Want to order next...

I was with M4 when that happened. Actually I was the one who gave him the Cabelas rounds to fire through his rifle. I had bought 200 rounds of .308 from them and had fired all but a few through my guns. For what ever reason the first round of Cabelas ammo through the gun was a KABOOM.

I ordered my first LaRue rifle the following week. I would have to say that seeing what happened first hand that that is the test of all test. I would not question how tuff their rifles are. I just would not and I will not save a couple bucks buying cheaper ammo. The gun took the KABOOM but if it didn't or if M4 had been  shooting from a different position when this happened things could have been worse.

I look forward to doing more business with LaRue.
