Is there someplace I can see what the differences are? Even another thread?

Run a search. There are many threads on this. Main differences are:

Lighter weight (pencil barrel)
Longer forearm
No adjustable gas block
O MOA Rail

Geared for hunters & 3-gunners.

P.S. you may want to wait more than 8 minutes before you "tag" for an answer.

I know this has been covered before, but I don't remember a resolution - the question is whethe the upper-rail is one continous piece as in the original OBR.  I have lighten the photo Mark posted and it does seem like there is a gap there where the red arrow is?  First photo is of the 556, the second one is the 308.

2 piece, there is a picture of a tounge in groove joint between the rail and upper.

Thanks!  It’s really a technical point.

BTW, not that it would matter I think unless you are using separate scope rings that bridge the rail.  IMHO, I think the original OBR upper-rail had to be one piece because of the MOA cant which no longer exist in the PredatAR, so they did away with it to keep cost down which is a good thing – why pay for something you don’t need?

Many threads eh? I didn't see any threads comparing the two on the first few pages so I asked...
