Does anyone know if this Larue Mount will mount a 50mm scope high enough?

And will the front sight block that is folded down, be in the way?

Or should I go with a higher mount.

It looks like it will work, just want to make sure before spending the money.

Thanks.

I have that on a 56.  My front doesn't fold and I can see it in the scope but not in the line of sight at 100 yards with no cant.  If your site folds, no problem.  EZ

You will be good to go with a fold down sight... call them if you are still uncomfortable...

I have a NF 5.5-22x50 in this mount on my Grendel build and I love it. I used to run it on my other rifle with Troy BUIS and the folded front sight was a non-issue. Working clearance at the rear was a bit tight, though––the CH handle and rear irons in combination with flip-up covers suck up a lot of space.

Also, as an FYI, for those who like to save their brass I highly recommend the 3BUCC catcher. It does its job like it's supposed to. I went through 4 different catchers before I settled on this one. Anyway, I ended up using the polymer flat top mount/adapter. You usually mount it as far forward on the receiver top as possible. Unfortunately, the LT-104's cantilevered piece sits too low, so I had to shave about 2 mm off the top of the polymer mount and create a channel for the LT-104.

Well, its on order.

If I don't like how it fits, I will use it on another rifle and try a different one.

But, I hope it works....
