[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SPOTR system

Does anyone know where I can see the SPOTR system and get some details? I looked around the web store and couldn't find it. I did see the tripod and ball head for attachment. Help. I need to know how much and how long to save.

They don't sell these to the public.....

they just keep a few on hand for mil/leo

unlesss the policy has changed.....which it should.....

Here is a pretty detailed piece on the SPOTR system from over on snipershide.com from 2008. Only thing I saw was mention of it only being available to Military. It is a great system, the best addition to the Leupold MK 4!

Thanks guys. Wow that is some nice setup there. That's is more than I am looking for. I really don't have the need for night vision. I was looking for details on optics and mount and that had it. It would be cool to play with though. [dream on]

It is one helluva step up for night shooting, from trying to lay out there spotting and marking targets with my M4 and PEQ2 to a solid single platform that I could spot, mark, and MIL targets from. Great product...Thanks Mark!
