I really like the looks of these cases, but I just don't trust'em... I've always prefered the hard cases... |
| Can't go wrong with a Storm or Pelican case, I like the extra safety of hard cases. Only drawbacks are; they are heavy, and most people will know it's a gun case when they see you toting it around. The later is not really a big deal for me, as my storm/pelican cases have gun related stickers all over them anyway.. Some people like the soft cases because they're a little more discreet, especially if you get a bright color like blue, red, or yellow, the first thought through most peoples head isn't "Gun". It's all in what you like tho. Your post didn't really give many details, did you have some specific questions? Or were you just stating that you like the looks but didn't trust them and prefer hard cases? |

Yea sorry about that, It was kind of late and the wife was nagging me to come to bed... I didn't really have any specific questions...I was just looking at cases for my new (18") Stealth build and was kind of torn on which way I wanted to go case wise.. Figured I post here and see you alls thoughts... This place has never steered me wrong before... As I had said, I really like the looks of that soft one I posted, plus its cheaper and lighter than a hard case... I'm not really concerned about discreet as when we go to the range or hunting, there is so much other gear being moved in and out, its obvious... I'm more worried about my rifle or its optics getting banged around or tweaked... I'd really like to order the combo and get both... Its only money right... Thanks guys for the comments on this... |
