Trying to decide between the Eotech XPS 3-0 with the larue QD 110 mount or an Aimpoint T-1 with the LT 610 Tall mount.

Optic will be used for shooting out to about 200 yards and put on a M&P15T loaded with Larue, Magpul, and Surefire goodness.

I like the fact that the XPS will run off of CR123s and that will make my light a donor for batteries if needed in an emergency.

Then again everywhere I turn I see people running T-1s in Larue mounts.

I've shot both and like the reticles on both, but I just can't decide.

So some help from ya'll would be appreciated.

Aimpoint, hands down.  No need to worry about taking batteries from your light in an emergency.  The fuckin' battery lasts 5 years, constant on.

Oh and get an H-1.  Unless you're SCUBA diving with your rifle or using NV, you really don't need to spend the extra $ on the T-1.  Other than those two things, they're the same optic.

Spend the difference on some other cool kit from LaRue while you're placing an order.

ETA: If you're doing a fair amount of shooting in the 100-200yd range . . . consider a 1-4x scope in a LT-104 . . .

Planning on a Trijicon Accupoint sometime in the future to take care of the stuff out past 100 yds, but right now was just considering these two. I need NV capability as I'm saving right now for one from TNVC.

Gotcha.  Go with the T-1 then.
