I've searched  and cannot find anything... why the throw-levers on the other side?
It seems like the lever would be just another temptation for Murphy, and obstruct a casing at the worst possible time.
Is there a reason to put it on that way?

The mount can be reversed so the lever is on either side, but the lever on the right side (in it's intended position) adds protection to the brightness dial, and keeps left side of the weapon "clean" (helpful when slung across the chest).

ahh !!
Figured there was a good reason.
I've got one on the way for a SPARC, so the brightness dial protection is a non-issue, but I'll have to consider the possibility of snags.
Thx for the reply.

Depends on the weapon. I mounted my T-1 reversed on my Benelli M4. Having the lever on the right side obstructed the bolt handle slightly.

Standard layout on my MRP.
